It is a minimalist change but having these white ones on display will still leave a huge impact in your apartment on mantels, stairwells, and centerpieces. They’re crisp and clean while being warm and subtle. And for the best effect, pair these white pumpkins with a hint of gold paint. Go all out with using gold spray paint for a unique classy take on fall this year.

Take arrangements to a minimum.

Take arrangements to a minimum. We’ve all been used to mom’s elaborate forage arrangements and sometimes we feel these are too much. So, why not bring in the less-is-more concept in autumn arrangements? Creating simple arrangements can both be therapeutic and fun. One idea is to get a vintage base with an arrangement of dried berry sprigs. If you’re into DIY, you can paint vases in warm pastel colors with a few fall-inspired flower arrangements. Finally, you can get simple amber vases and have a bunch of dried wheat arranged in them. These things really don’t take too much effort!

Tables, workspaces, and seating are a must.

Every child needs a child-sized furniture. They would need to be comfortable working on stuff they love doing, for sure. Add in a few bean bags, or pillows so not everything is hard and sturdy.

Bring in cozier fabrics to replace throws.

. Since the autumn season brings in the cold winds, you’ll want to warm up your home with a few fabric changes. Instead of using lighter throws, use faux fur or plaid flannel. These do not only feel warm, but they actually look really cozy! You can bring in a superior-quality faux fur in gray for a plush feel. Another great fabric to have are chunky knit blankets simply because they’re so inviting! And of course, you will never go wrong with plaid blankets so be sure to add these in. You can take then take these fabrics and set up a “Get Cozy” station in your living room. Simply make a handmade sign in front of a pile of these fabrics somewhere in your living room. You’ll instantly turn this into a snuggle area or a cozy reading nook!

DIY your home fall scents.

. Having your home smell like autumn is a must and it is quite easy to pull this off. Bringing in the apple-cinnamon-and-nutmeg vibe into your home can be done in a number of ways. One is to make your own autumn citrus and spice room spray. To make this you’ll need some water and a combination of essential oils (sweet orange, clove bud, and cinnamon). Mix the oils together with the water, shake well and you’re good to go.

Aside from the autumn spray, you can also make your own beeswax and coconut spice candles. Get some jars, a wick, a cup of beeswax, a cup of coconut oil and some spices. Place the wicks in the jars by using metal wick holders or simply taping them at the bottom of the jars. Be sure to take the tops of the wicks and wrap them around an old pencil in the centers of jars. Melt the beeswax, coconut oil and spices together in a double boiler. Once fully melted, put the mixture in the jars with the wicks you first set up. Let the wax sit and harden. It won’t be long before you’re ready to spruce up your home with the scents of autumn!
