Medical District Apartments Area and Neighborhoods
The Medical District of Dallas is a booming urban area just Northwest of Downtown Dallas, off of I-35. This area of Dallas is named the Medical District due to it’s close proximity to the UT Southwestern Medical Center campus which covers a good portion of the area. It is also home to Parkland Hospital and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
But what makes the Medical District a good place to live? For medical professionals, the proximity to several area hospitals makes this area an attractive choice, but the Dallas Medical District is more than just hospitals, even for those working in other professions who are looking for an apartment in Dallas, the Medical District provides a prime central location for accessing all that Dallas has to offer.
With Uptown being right down the street, there’s always something to do. You can still enjoy the vibe of Uptown without blowing up your pocketbook by living in the Medical District. You will be able to pick from a slew of restaurants and eateries and pubs. One of our favorites is Perry’s Steakhouse and Grill. You can’t beat the famous pork chop that is slow-smoked and served with apple sauce. Of course you can dig into a big fat juicy steak with a fried asparagus side, and they even have seafood. The Ginger Man is a great Irish pub where you can drink a cold one, listen to the juke box and play a game of darts. Your dog can even lay out on the patio and get a nice bowl of water to keep him cooled off. By the way, the patio is awesome. You will have a tough time deciding what to do in Uptown, there are so many choices.
